These Terms & Conditions govern your use of the REMY website and the purchase of goods and services from REMY ("REMY", "we", "us" or "our"). By placing an order or using our website, you agree to these terms. Please read them carefully.

About us

REMY is an Australian made-to-measure menswear brand. Our garments are produced to each customer's individual measurements and specifications.

Orders and consultations

Placing an order for a made-to-measure garment involves recording your measurements, cloth selection, and any specifications or preferences, whether in person, online, or through a consultation.

An order is only confirmed once we have accepted it and the required deposit has been paid. We reserve the right to decline or cancel any order, in which case any payment made will be refunded.

You are responsible for ensuring that the details you provide, including measurements, selections, and delivery information, are accurate. Because garments are cut to your specifications, we rely on the information recorded at the time of order.

Pricing and payment

Prices are shown in the currency indicated at checkout and are subject to change without notice, though changes will not affect orders already confirmed.

Made-to-measure orders are paid in two parts:

• a deposit, payable at the time the order is placed, which confirms the order and allows production to begin; and
• the outstanding balance, payable before the completed garment is delivered or collected.

Production does not begin until the deposit is received. Deposits are non-refundable except where a garment is found not to be fit for service, as set out below, or where we cancel an order.

Payments are processed securely through our payment providers. We do not store your full card details.

Made-to-measure, remakes, and refunds

Because our garments are made individually to your measurements and specifications, they cannot be resold and are not eligible for change-of-mind returns or refunds.

Where a completed garment is fit for service, no refund or return applies.

Where one of our staff considers that a jacket or garment is not fit for service, we will remake or refund accordingly. These matters are assessed on a case-by-case basis. We ask that you raise any concern with us promptly so that we can inspect the garment and determine the appropriate outcome.

Nothing in these terms excludes the guarantees or rights you may have under the Australian Consumer Law or other applicable consumer protection laws, which apply in addition to these terms.

Fittings and alterations

Made-to-measure garments may require one or more fittings and adjustments to achieve the intended fit. We will work with you to refine the garment within the scope of our service. Alterations requested outside the original specification may be subject to additional charges, which we will discuss with you beforehand.

Production and delivery times

Made-to-measure production takes time, and estimated timeframes are indicative only. We will keep you informed of the progress of your order. We are not liable for delays outside our reasonable control, including those caused by suppliers, couriers, or circumstances beyond our control.

Shipping

We ship within Australia and internationally. Risk in the goods passes to you on delivery. For international orders, you are responsible for any customs duties, taxes, or import charges levied in the destination country, and for ensuring the goods may lawfully be imported.

Care of garments

We provide guidance on caring for your garments. We are not responsible for damage arising from improper care, wear, alteration by a third party, or misuse.

Intellectual property

All content on our website, including text, images, photography, designs, and branding, is owned by REMY or used with permission and is protected by intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or use any of it without our written consent.

Your use of the website

You agree to use our website lawfully and not to interfere with its operation or security. We may modify, suspend, or withdraw any part of the website at any time.

Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, REMY is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential loss arising from your use of the website or the purchase of our goods. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited, at our option, to resupplying the goods or services or paying the cost of doing so. Nothing in these terms limits any rights you have under the Australian Consumer Law that cannot lawfully be excluded.

Privacy

Your personal information is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy, available on our website.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The current version will always be available on our website, with the date of the most recent update shown at the top. The terms that apply to your order are those in effect at the time the order is confirmed.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia, and you submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of that state.
